July 2022: More than 500,000 visitor arrivals to Binh Thuan

to the Provincial Statistics Office, tourists in the month were estimated at
515.8 thousand arrivals, 4.12% higher than the previous month and 23.9 times
over the same period in 2021; the number of room nights is estimated at 926.5 thousand,
4.42% higher than the previous month, 19.9 times over the same period in 2021.
Accumulated 7 months of 2022, the number of tourists is estimated at 2,909.3 thousand
of arrivials, 67.3% higher than the same period in 2021, number of room nights is
estimated at 5,082.4 thousand, 68.69% higher than the same period in 2021.
Revenue from tourism
in the month is estimated at 922.3 billion VND, 4.15% higher than the previous
month and 12.6 times over the same period in 2021. Accumulated 7 months of 2022
is estimated at 5,417.2 billion VND, 38.58% higher than the same period in
2021.
Travel activities are
being restored well, tour organizers regularly take the tourist goups to visit places
inside and outside the province. The support activities, entertainment
services, and other services have grown pretty well. Notably, the Circus Land -
NovaWorld Phan Thiet, put into operation this month with high-class games for
visitors, has also contributed to create more diversity for tourism products.
Continuing the growth
momentum in the last months of the year, aiming to fulfill the goal of
welcoming 4.5 million visitor arrivals in 2022, in addition to maintaining the
image of a safe, friendly and quality destination, summer tourism stimulus
programs in August and September, in Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan, there are also
many exciting and attractive cultural, sports and tourism events. Those are the
series of events to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the re-establishment of
the province (1992 - 2022), traditional festivals such as Nghinh Ong Quan Thanh
De Quan, Kate at the Po Sah Inu tower, the IX Provincial Sports Congress 2022 ...
