Support policies for linkage between production and consumption of agricultural products

In the past time, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has
coordinated with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to
propagate and mobilize businesses and cooperatives to build new value chains,
creating favorable conditions for enterprises to develop linkages between
production and consumption of agricultural products, and at the same time guide
the subjects which are enterprises, cooperatives, farmers, etc. to develop linkage
projects and plans.
As a result, from the
beginning of 2022, the whole province has developed 03 new projects on linking
production and consumption of agricultural products, including 01 project on
linking production of dragon fruit; 02 joint projects on raising cows and
dragon fruit. In addition, through the implementation of the project
"Application of scientific and technical progress for linkage model construction
of organic dragon fruit production in Binh Thuan province", the
authorities have issued the organic certification for 80 hectares of dragon
fruit/03 models, including 02 farms and 01 cooperative; At the same time,
building a chain of dragon fruit with a scale of 20 hectares in Ham Kiem
commune, Ham Thuan Nam district and granting GlobalGAP certificates, planting
area codes for export to China, Australia, America, etc. New Zealand, Korea,
Japan.
In the coming time,
the provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to
call and encourage enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities to
invest in technology in dragon fruit processing; organizing the solutions for
production stabilization in the direction of sustainable linkage among chain
participants, associated with the application of scientific and technical
advances.
