Ham Tan to enhance the value promotion of folk music of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development

Tan district has just developed the implement plan on the project
"Preserving and promoting the values of folk music of ethnic minorities in
association with tourism development in the period of 2022 - 2030"
(project) in the district.
The project aims to
preserve, popularize, transmit and promote the unique values of folk songs,
folk dances and traditional folk music of ethnic minorities in the district;
raise awareness and pride, sense of self-discipline and responsibility of the
community and people in preserving and promoting traditional cultural values of
the nation; step by step preserve and promote the values of traditional folk
songs, dances and folk music of ethnic minorities to become typical cultural
tourism products, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of
localities in the district.
To do this, the
locality will carry out a statistics of intangible cultural heritage types of
folk songs, folk dances and traditional folk music of ethnic minorities in the
district. Stepping up propaganda and promoting the values of folk songs, folk
dances and folk music of ethnic minorities in association with tourism
development through performing, teaching, creating and disseminating the values
of folk songs, folk dances and folk music of ethnic minorities in the
community, families, schools; building clubs and villages performing folklore
activities, preserving and promoting folk songs, dances and folk music of
ethnic minorities. Selecting typical performances to exchange and perform on
Tet, traditional festivals and festivals to create cultural products,
associated with the development needs of community tourism and cultural
tourism; promoting the role of conventions and rules in preserving cultural
values. From there, step by step connecting tours and routes in areas with the
potential to form linkages with tourism products as soon as conditions are met.
