Effectiveness improvement on drug prevention, control and control

order to implement the direction of the Standing Provincial Party Committee in Announcement
No. 393 dated September 27, 2022 on the preliminary conclusion of the 03 years
of implementation of the Action Program No. 76, dated December 30, 2019 of the
Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee (Term XIII) on the implementation
of Directive No. 36, dated August 16, 2019 of the Politburo (Term XII) on
strengthening and improving the effectiveness of drug prevention and control,
the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just requested heads of
departments, agencies, and chairpersons of People's Committees of districts,
towns and cities, and the Provincial Front and mass organizations to continue
to lead, direct and promote their roles, responsibilities, and take seriously
and effectively the implementation of the Decisions, Plans and directing
documents of the Standing Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's
Committee on drug prevention and control suitable to the situation of each
agency, unit, locality. It must be clearly defined that drug prevention and
control is a central, urgent, regular and long-term task, requiring drastic,
persistent and high determination; at the same time, there must be close and
synchronous coordination of all levels, agencies and socio-political organizations.
The Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee also requested to focus on promoting and
diversifying forms of propaganda and dissemination on the harmful effects of
drugs and the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws on the prevention
and control of drugs; launching the drug prevention and control movements that
are specific, practical and suitable to each locality and target audience,
focusing on key and complicated areas and high-risk groups; consolidating and
replicating effective operating models, eliminating ineffective ones to build
new models as the core in preventing and fighting crime and drug abuse.
The Provincial Public
Security is assigned to chair over, and coordinate with relevant agencies to advice
the Provincial People's Committee in monitoring, inspecting and guiding the
implementation; promptly proposing and resolving difficulties and obstacles in
the implementation.
