Phan Thiet drastically to transform the complicated key areas of drugs

Thiet City People's Committee has just issued a plan to conduct Project 3
"Solving and transforming complicated drug-related key areas in communes,
wards and townships" (referred to as Project 3).
The plan is to
improve the capacity and efficiency of the drug-related crime prevention and
control force in preventing, detecting, fighting, and solving and transforming the
complicated drug-related key areas in communes and wards; clearly defining the
responsibilities of the functional forces in the work of preventing, detecting
and fighting drug crimes, preventing the formation of new complicated points
and dens; thereby gradually repelling and fundamentally changing the situation
of drug-related crimes in the area.
Striving to 2025 to
achieve the goal of "reducing supply, demand, and harm" on drugs.
Specifically, every year, the number of complicated drug-related spots and dens
that are erased increases from 5% compared to the previous year, preventing the
formation of new complicated points and dens; striving to eliminate 80% of drug
"hot spots" by 2025.
On the other hand,
the city also strictly complies with the provisions of the law in receiving and
handling reports and denunciations of related crimes at complicated points,
venues and areas that needed for transformation. At the same time, increasing resources
for drug-related crime prevention and control.
