Strengthening inspection of the implementation of retail electricity prices for tenants who are students and employees

At requested by Department of Industry and Trade, the People's Committees of
districts, towns and cities and Binh Thuan Power Company have strengthened the
inspection of the implementation of retail electricity prices for tenants who
are students and employees in the province.
People's Committees
of districts, towns and cities must direct relevant agencies and units to
coordinate with Binh Thuan Power Company to strengthen inspection and
settlement of cases of electricity retail price imposition at rental places for
students and employees according to Directive no 07/CT-BCT dated August 28,
2018 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade to ensure that the tenants as students
and employees are eligible for the retail electricity price according to the
regulations of the Ministry of Industry and Trade; at the same time, to strictly
handle according to the provisions of law for cases where the landlord has
signed a commitment to collect electricity at the prescribed price but still
collects a higher electricity bill than prescribed.
Binh Thuan Power
Company shall continues to compile the list of rental locations and report on
periodic the inspection on the implementation of retail electricity prices at
rental locations and send it to the Department of Industry and Trade for
synthesis and report to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
