Focus on implementation of grant and management of the planting area codes

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong has just
signed and promulgated an official document requesting the Department of
Agriculture and Rural Development; People's Committees of districts, towns and
cities to implement the grant and management of the planting area codes in the
province.
Accordingly, the
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development shall organize the issuance and
management of planting area codes via the online software at
https://csdltrongtrot.mard.gov.vn according to the guiding document of the
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development issued with Decision No.
3156/QD-BNN-TT dated August 19, 2022. Assigning a focal point under the
Department to perform the work of granting and managing planting area codes
according to regulations. Guiding the procedures for granting planting area
codes to organizations and individuals in the province; coordinating with the
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to determine priority crop
objects for granting planting area codes according to specific conditions of
each locality.
The People's Committees
of districts, towns and cities shall direct the Divisions of Agriculture and
Rural Development and the Divisions of Economics to be the focal agencies to take
over the responsibility in setting up the application dossiers for planting
area code and performing the duty on management and use of planting area codes
to ensure compliance with regulations. Organizing training and guidance to
raise awareness for organizations and individuals about planting area codes;
regularly inspecting and supervising the use of planting area codes that have
been granted to local organizations and individuals to ensure traceability
requirements when necessary; promptly detecting, reporting and requesting
competent authorities to strictly handle violations of regulations on planting
area codes.
