Proactively respond to natural disasters

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just requested the
Provincial Commanding Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control,
Search and Rescue, Directors of Departments, agencies, heads of provincial
units and Chairpersons of People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to
proactively direct and administer the implementation of disaster prevention and
response for the last months of 2022 and early 2023 in the province.
Accordingly,
departments, agencies and localities continue to strictly implement Directive
No. 09/CT-TTg dated June 01, 2022 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the
natural disaster prevention and control and search and rescue; Directive No.
08/CT-UBND dated July 07, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee on
strengthening natural disaster prevention and control, search and rescue in
2022 and Directive No. 10/CT-UBND dated August 18, 2022 of Provincial People's
Committee on strengthening the management of fishing vessels, preventing and
responding to incidents at sea.
Which are to inspect
and review unsafe housing with storm levels; organize tree pruning, guide
bracing, reinforce houses, protect infrastructure works, especially offices,
warehouses, schools, medical facilities, tall towers, power grid systems,
industrial parks, etc. to minimize damage; do not be subjective, do not let
accidents happen while reinforcing, bracing houses, and evacuating items;
deploy the evacuation plan for people in dangerous places into safer places
according to each disaster scenario and level before the storm hits, prolonged
heavy floods and inundations.
