La Gi to stabilize the population in areas of natural disaster affected, especial difficulties, free migration

Gi town has just deployed population stabilization in areas: natural disaster
affected, especially difficulties, free migration and improving people's living
standards, minimizing damage caused by natural disasters, free migration;
creating jobs, increasing incomes, supporting people to have equal access to
basic social services, contributing to poverty reduction, environmental
protection and strengthening national defense and security.
Specifically, the
People's Committees of communes and wards in the town shall coordinate with
local agencies and mass organizations to prepare the plan which identifies
specific solutions and key tasks to organize effectively the implementation in
order to ensure security, order and social safety, contributing to the
socio-economic development of each areas. Ensuring the basic goal of striving
to complete the stabilization of life for households in disaster affected and
free migrantion areas into the project area in association with the
socio-economic development planning in the town by 2025.
In addition, to strengthen
advocacy, propaganda, and guiding people about the guidelines and policies of
the Party and the State, especially mechanisms, policies and regulations of laws
on the arrangement of free migrants and the management, protection, and
development of forests and land in the area.
The People's Committee
of La Gi town also proposes the Police Force, Military Command of the town, and
the Phuoc Loc Border Guard Station to strengthen the management, inspection and
supervision of projects implemented in the town; coordinate with other provinces
where migrants coming from and going into the town, organize the registration
of household and citizen identification according to the provisions of the Law
on Residence.
The Division of Labor
- Invalids and Social Affairs is assigned to coordinate with the Division of
Economics to implement vocational training and create sustainable jobs for
household workers who are arranged at the population stabilization projects,
especially for those who cannot be secured by agricultural land to stabilize
their lives.
