Duc Thang communal house was built in the late 18th century-early 19th
century in Duc Thang Precinct. Initially it hard a thatch roof and earthen
walls. In 1811, it was upgraded and completed in 1947. The house was built
with the folk architecture called “tu tru” (four pillars – using four big
pillars as the main supports). The exterior decorations were made with
pieces of terra-cotta and porcelain assembled and engraved that produced
many beautiful engravings.
