Duc Nghia communal house was built in the first
decades of the 19th century on a large, high sand hill,
in Duc Nghia Precinct. In front of it there is a large
lotus pond. Its architecture is similar to that in Duc
Thang Hamlet, with unique artistic decorations. The most
notable trait is the pieces of glazed terra-cotta and
porcelain assembled into images of the four sacred
animals (dragon, lion, tortoise and phoenix).
